We're going to talk about something that I've been wanting to talk about for a while now because after chatting with so many aspiring and struggling virtual assistants in the DMs, inside of Facebook groups, and through replies to my weekly email newsletter, I found that they all struggle with this one main thing.
And for me personally, this has never been a problem, even in the early stages of my business. Finding and converting clients comes super easy to me. And honestly, it doesn't take me long to do it.
I signed two clients within 10 days of starting my business, but I have talked to female virtual assistants that go weeks and months without signing a client.
So what am I doing differently?
So the first thing I want to say is I make a clear and concise plan of what I'll do for the next 30 days that will get me closer to my goal.
And that's talking about how many clients I will need to hit that income goal. And a lot of virtual assistants skip this step.
But this step is so important because when I'm making that unwavering decision as this is what I want, and I'm going to do whatever I need by any means necessary to get it, that's why I'm able to accomplish that goal with ease.
You can't get what you want if you don't know exactly what it is you want. You can't call in this broad, general idea of I want clients. What does that mean?
What does that look like for you? You need to get real specific on a few different things to be able to attract, manifest, find exactly what it is you want.
First, I always start with my monthly income goal.
So any period in my business, I need to know what it is I need to make to be able to finance or support my lifestyle, my bills, my savings, investments. So it all starts with that monthly income goal.
What do I need to make this month to pay the bills, add to my savings, have a little play money for me and the kids? And once you nail that down, that specific amount, everything else will kind of fall in place for you.
So the next thing is you want to use that amount to identify what packages it is that you need to sell this month. So I'm a high ticket VA. So my base package and what I always call my signature package for a long time was at least 1K per month.
So if I'm selling the lowest package to my clients, how many clients do I need to hit that month to hit my income goal? So let's work with some real numbers here.
Let's say my monthly income goal for November is $3,000, 3K.
I will need three clients at 1K per month to hit that goal. Sounds easy, right? Basic math.
So, okay, so how much do you need to make this month? How many packages do you need to sell? And how many clients do you need to sign?
Now, here's the important step. So we have all the numbers. We know down the amount. We know how many clients we need to book. How do you get in front of these clients that are ready to buy?
And this is the main point of how I sign 2K plus in clients in one week.
And you already know what I'm going to say, but I'm going to go ahead and say it, and it's marketing. And that's through content, comments, DMs, emails, and converting on sales calls. So I need to know, how will I show up every day?
Every day is whatever that looks like for your business. For me, a good chunk of my time is spent Tuesday through Thursday, and what do I need to focus on to get in front of my dream clients that need my 1K package today?
So every day, I will pitch inside of Facebook groups, through posts looking for virtual assistants that aligned with my services and my signature package.
And that's the thing a lot of virtual assistants skip, is that you pitch to anybody, and so you're going to kind of downplay your 1K package. You're like, oh, I don't want to miss out on this client, so maybe I'll only sign up for 500 or 750.
Stay focused on the goals, stay focused on the plan, and go ahead and let clients that do not align with that plan, fly.
If you're not doing this consistently, you'll pitch one day, post one day, and then get discouraged and throw in a towel, and the clear is not working.
So the whole point of this podcast is how I signed 2K plus clients in one week.
I didn't get discouraged on day two and say, okay, this is not working. Let's throw in a towel. Let's switch. Let's pivot. Let's try something else. I kept working my plan until the plan worked.
You have to commit to the process even when it feels like it isn't working. But you also have to be able to speak to your dream clients' pain points and desires.
And this is another huge struggle for a lot of virtual assistants, especially when you're starting out or when you're starting to offer different services.
You have to make sure your potential clients feel like you're in their head and know exactly what it is they need, but also you're able to communicate the value in your services in a way that makes them feel like they need them right now.
And this is something you have to get really, really good at if you're going to pivot to a high ticket VA.
If they don't sign up today, you want to make them feel like they're missing out on something, losing something, like they're going to be stuck in this place for a while if they don't sign on to your services.
Another way I'm able to stand out from other virtual assistants, and this is something you have to get super, super good at too, and if you're going to be able to convert leads quickly, and that's how I able to do this in just one week, seven days,
is to be able to identify and share relatable results.
Social proof, testimonials, case studies, etc. are great, but if I can identify and make the person feel like they are in the shoes of whoever those results are, then that's how they're going to be able to really see that they can gain their same results.
I want to have them tripping over their own feet to get to their purse and pull out that wallet. That's how you're able to convert with quickness, with ease, if you're able to share results that they can relate to.
So if you want to sign your next high ticket client fast, then first you need to create a clear and concise plan of what you truly want.
How much do you want in the next 30 days? How many packages do you need to sell?
And how many clients do you need to sign to hit that goal? Then you need to get out there and market your booty off. How do you get in front of those clients that are ready to buy today?
Facebook groups, Instagram, TikTok, email lists, whatever it is for you, and commit to that process and to show up consistently. And a lot of people, when you hit consistently, they think it's seven days a week, 24 hours, whatever it is.
Consistently is whatever you commit to.
So for me, like I said, I like to show up at least three days out of the week, and make sure you, once you commit to that, you actually show up and do that. Consistency is what speeds up your results.
So whatever that looks like for you, go ahead and commit to that process, and that's how you're going to be able to sign even high-ticket clients quickly and with ease by showing up every day, working your process every day, and showing up for your
business like the CEO you are and not like your society.
But if you're struggling with knowing exactly what to do every day, how to find ready-to-buy clients, how to communicate the value of your services, especially after you raise your rates...
